Fried squid rings with tartar sauce


What appliances do you need?

  • FRITEL deep fryer


  • 2 eggs
  • 24 large squid rings
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of beer
  • Tartar sauce


  • Mix in a bowl the egg yolks, the beer and the flour
  • Whisk the egg whites and mix with the egg yolks.
  • Dip the rings in this mixture.
  • Heat up your FRITEL deep fryer to 180°C and fry the rings 2 to 3 minutes each side.  
  • Serve the squid rings with tartar sauce
